Today I have spent a lot of the day helping hang up work as most of the second year photography students have started hanging their work for the Novus 14 exhibition today! This image taken by Hannah Smith is of Kelsey Johnson's work bing hung by lecturers David Noble and Rick Barks.
My work will be hung tomorrow, along with a shelf for a book I have created and business cards.
Opening on the evening of 11 April (6-9pm) and continuing for two full days (9am – 6pm) on 12 and 13 April, Novus 14 brings together a diverse range of work including food photography, fashion, documentary and still life and is a chance for students to showcase their creativity and ideas. There is something to suit all tastes.
Rick Barks, Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Photography course said:
"It’s very important for students to exhibit their work and strive to achieve a professional standard. Some of the work on show is outstanding and the students should be proud to see that their hard work has paid off.”
