Novus 14 Preparation

The Novus Exhibition gets underway in two weeks time! And today we have spent hours filling in holes, smoothing out the walls with sandpaper, painting the walls and cleaning the floor of the exhibition corridor.

Second Year Photography students at Staffordshire University will be showcasing their work at a public exhibition in April. Members of the public are invited to visit the three-day exhibition, at the Henrion Building on the Stoke campus.

Opening on the evening of 11 April (6-9pm) and continuing for two full days (9am – 6pm) on 12 and 13 April, Novus 14 brings together a diverse range of work including food photography, fashion, documentary and still life and is a chance for students to showcase their creativity and ideas. There is something to suit all tastes.

Rick Barks, Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Photography course said:

"It’s very important for students to exhibit their work and strive to achieve a professional standard. Some of the work on show is outstanding and the students should be proud to see that their hard work has paid off."

Members of the public, keen photographers and prospective students who want to find out more about the course are all welcome to the exhibition.
